Our philosophy

Nothing to hide

Standards began with a simple frustration: almost every protein bar on the shelf is a confectionery product wearing a gym kit. We wanted one made of food.

Ten ingredients, all of them food

Grass-fed whey protein concentrate, grass-fed bovine collagen, organic coconut sap, honey, organic cacao powder, ghee, organic cacao nibs, organic cacao butter, organic vanilla extract and sea salt. That is the whole list. If an ingredient isn’t doing nutritional or culinary work, it isn’t in the bar.

No sugar alcohols, no synthetic sweeteners, no seed oils, no gums or soluble corn fibre to bulk out the texture. That’s also why our bars digest like food rather than sitting heavily an hour later.

Why grass-fed, and why concentrate

We use whey concentrate rather than isolate because concentrate keeps more of the naturally occurring milk fats and immunoglobulins that heavy processing strips out. We pair it with bovine collagen for the amino acids whey is lowest in — glycine and proline — which support skin, joints and connective tissue.

Small batches, made in the UK

Every batch is made by hand in the UK in quantities small enough that we taste and check it ourselves. Nothing sits in a warehouse for a year. Because there are no preservatives and real cacao butter, our bars soften in warm weather — we consider that a feature, not a fault.

Nutrient dense, honestly labelled

20g of protein and 195kcal per 48g bar, with the full nutrition panel published on the product page rather than buried. Values vary slightly batch to batch because natural ingredients do. We’d rather tell you that than round the numbers.

Local first

We’re based in Thanet and deliver locally by hand for free. Everywhere else in mainland UK is sent by tracked post with postage included in the price. Subscribers save 10% and can pause, skip or cancel whenever they like.
